School Events
This Wednesday, all sophomores will be taking CAPT Science and all juniors will be taking the SAT. Students will be able to use their results when they're applying to post-secondary institutions. We want all of our students to do their best, so getting a good night's rest on Tuesday is important. Juniors will need to bring their graphing calculators and number 2 pencils to the test. Cell phones will not be permitted into the testing rooms. Sophomores and juniors are reminded to look at the room assignment lists posted throughout the building to be sure they are on the list and know where they will need to go on Wednesday morning. It is important students do that before Wednesday so they can head directly to their testing rooms on Wednesday morning.
Freshmen students will be participating in team activities planned throughout the day. Seniors will be going on their senior class trip if they have returned their permission slips and payment or will be participating in community service activities on Wednesday.
All students will have an early release day on Wednesday. Lunch will not be served. Dismissal time will be 12:06. Students who will be using extended time for the SAT only will have bus transportation home at 2:00pm.
Fundraisers
Our AVID students will be participating in a textile/clothing drive. If you have torn or stained clothing that you're planning on throwing away, instead please have your teen bring it in to school for the AVID Clean Your Closet/Save the Earth drive.

Teachers are currently entering their recommendations for students' next level of course work. It would be a good idea to begin planning out your year next year, review the Program of Studies on-line, and talk with your teachers about which options will be available to you next year. Should you have any questions, you can always meet with your guidance counselor before making your requests. The portal is open for students to start to enter their requests.
