BE Events for the Week of May 2

School Events

AP testing begins this week.  We have hundreds of students taking different exams each day this week.  The preparation for the exams has been intense.  We encourage all of our AP students to get a good night's rest the night prior to the exam and to come to school having eaten a good breakfast.  We know the stress is high.  We know you'll do your best and you're ready!

Our Academic Honors banquet will be held Tuesday evening.    The top students of each class will be recognized for their commitment to academic success at a dinner with their families.

We can't wait for our Spring Musical, Spamalot, to open this Thursday night.  Our students had a sneak preview last week and I know many are excited to see the show in its entirety.  We'll have shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening, with a special showing at 2:00pm on Saturday.  Students will have a discounted ticket on Thursday.

Our AVID program will be hosting a parking lot tag sale on Saturday.  Come by before the show and shop flea-market fashion in our parking lot.  At the same time, the Class of 2016 is  having a clothing drop fundraiser.  Bring items that you'd like to donate including clothes, towels, blankets, and our senior class will receive a dollar amount to their class for each pound of items collected.

BE Events for the Week of April 25

School Events

99% of our juniors were present for the SAT when students took it in March.  The make-up testing date for our students is on April 27th.  We are striving for 100%  participation since the SAT can open doors to students' future post-secondary education.

Students will be inducted into the Science National Honor Society Thursday after school.  Information will be sent directly to students.

Our school will have a preview of our Spring production, Spamalot, on April 29th.  Students will have the opportunity to see snippets of several scenes so that the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students in the show can be shared with the entire student body.
