Events for the Week of September 28

For School Events this week:

• The SATs will be held this Saturday at BEHS

For Home Varsity Events this week:

• On Monday, at 6:30pm, Girls' Soccer will compete against Plainville.
• On Wednesday, at 3:45pm, Boys' Soccer will compete against Middletown.
• On Friday, at 3:45pm, we have Boys' Cross Country vs. Middletown and Plainville.
• Also on Friday, we have Girls' Soccer vs. Newington at 3:45pm.  

For Parent events this week:

• Football Boosters will meet Tuesday in the library at 6:00pm.
• Governance Council will meet Thursday at 2:30pm in the library.

Events for the Week of September 21

For school events this week:

• This Wednesday, we will meet with our advisory groups.  Juniors and Seniors with late arrival should pay special attention to the schedule for Wednesday.
• Bristol Eastern band will performing at CT day at the Big E this Wednesday.  We know they'll make BE proud!
• Club Fair during all four lunches on Thursday, September 24th. 
• There will be a College Fair this Thursday evening from 6-8pm.  All students are encouraged to attend whether you're just beginning your high school career or you're a senior making your final decisions.  Knowing what colleges are like and what they expect from a student during their high school career is useful information for all BE students and families.

For home varsity athletic events this week:

• Boys' Soccer v. Wethersfield at 7pm on Monday, 9/21
• Girls' Volleyball v. Glastonbury at 6pm on Thursday, 9/24
• Boys' Soccer on Friday vs. Hall at 3:45pm
• Friday night lights game for Football verses Wethersfield at 7pm

For parent events this week:

• Football Boosters will meet Tuesday at 6:00pm in the library
• Parents are encouraged to attend the College Fair with their teen on Thursday

Events for the Week of September 14th

We're finally cooling off this week.
For school events this week, we have:

• Senior Photos to be taken on Wednesday; students do need to have an appointment with Art Rich but there will be no charge for the photo session

For home varsity events this week, we have:

•  Cross Country vs. New Britain Tuesday at 3:45
• Boys' Soccer at home under the lights against Platt Tuesday at 7:00pm
• Girls' Swim against Wethersfield Tuesday at 3:45pm
• Cross Country Friday at 3:45
• Girls' Soccer against New Britain at 3:45
• Football against Farmington under the lights on Friday at 7:00pm

For parent events this week, we have:

• Project Graduation for parents of seniors who would like to plan the Drug and Alcohol Free Graduation Celebration on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in the library
• Football Boosters on Tuesday at 6:00pm in the library conference room

Events for the Week of September 7

We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend.  Students, we will have our first advisory meeting of the year this Wednesday.  Juniors and seniors with late arrival should pay close attention to the schedule for Wednesday.  Friday is September 11th, the National Day of Service and Remembrance.  Please wear red, white, and blue on Friday.

• Girls' Soccer v. Rocky Hill on Friday at 3:45pm
• Girls' Volleyball v. Rocky Hill on Friday at 6pm

• Football Booster Club on Tuesday at 6:30pm in the library
• All Sports Booster Club on Thursday at 7:00pm in the library.  Please join All Sports Booster if  your teen will compete on any team throughout the year.  Parent support is needed throughout all of the seasons.
